Hopi
Point is a favorite for South Rim visitors seeking the “best
seat in the house” for one of Grand Canyon’s world-renown
sunsets. It is named after the Hopi Indian tribe of northeastern
Arizona, whose ancestors inhabited the canyon for centuries before
departing mysteriously in the 1200s.
